Brassofit is formulated to induce growth of plant as well as mainly to increase fruit size due to cell division.
It is made up of brassinosteroides new 6th generation plant growth hormone after auxins, Gibberellins, cytokinines, Abscissic acid and ethylene.
Active Ingredients:
Brassinosteroids
Appearance and Storage:
Transparent yellow coloured water soluble liquid.
Easily spray able, sealed undamaged.
Product has shelf life of 3 years
Store in cool and dry place away from sunlight.
Toxicity Data:
LD 50 Acute oral for albino mice> 4.20ml /kg b.w.
LD 50 Acute Dermal for albino rat> 4ml /kg b.w.
Non hazardous, Non Poisonus,.
Mode of action
On foliar application or dipping brassinoloids easily get absorbed through cell wall.
It is get bound with suitable receptor located in plasma membrane.
Binding of brassinoloid molecules to receptor gives activation of biochemical reactions which promotes cell elongation and division resulting in increasing of fruit size.
On other hand it promotes rooting and rhizome initiation.
Increases rate of photosynthesis.
